I got mine in the mail yesterday. Here is the deal.  PG&E is sending out forms to all customers that are on Medical Baseline and Life Support.  Their reason for sending these forms out is to contact us in advance  should the event of a planned outage be up coming, and to contact us with updates should an unplanned outage occur. The form is quite easy, just fill in all types of contact information that you have, then check the one that you wish them to use to contact you.  Keep in mind, that during a long power outage, anything battery operated will eventually run out of juice so plug in a good old fashioned land line phone during these times.

I don't know if this data base will actually work, but it will be interesting to find out and they send it with the postage paid so I think it is a good idea to fill it out and send it back. The deadline date is July 1, 2012  but sooner is always better then later!
